Jesus said, “But you shall receive Power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you” (Acts 1:8a).

The key to victorious living in an evil age is staying power, staying in the power, staying in the power of the Holy Spirit. Staying in the power takes focus, discipline, commitment, concentration on the Divine Life of the Lamb.

When Joshua was outside the walls of Jericho, he was in a position of power, even though he found himself “prostrate before the Captain of the LORD of Hosts who was come to aid and comfort the armies of Israel” (cf. Joshua 5:14-15). [From Land of Promise/Jericho]. Joshua stayed in power, in humility to the Greater One.

There is always the Greater One regardless how much we stay in power. Humility in the Presence is a powerful place to abide. Humility understands the true nature of Being. We are in a New Dimension, a New Realm, the Kingdom of God. We may have a gift, a calling, an anointing, a mantle, a position of authority; but we are always in the Presence of the Greater One and humility keeps us secure, in place, grounded, rooted, anchored, immovable, unshakable, steadfast.

Stay in Power, live in Power, work in Power–the dynamite of the Holy One. You have been sent to turn the world upside down.
