There was a man from Wayville
Who constantly walked uphill;
Then whereupon he made the crest
He always mused and thought it best
To suddenly walk downhill.
Up and down he traversed the ground
For many a day and night;
Then he discovered the ground he covered
Was always within sight.
But he dared not venture
Where peradventure he could not
See his way;
So up and down he goes around
Unto this very day.
