“He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are Judgment; a God of Truth and without iniquity; Just and Right is He” (Deuteronomy 32:4).
The words of the Prophet, were written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to proclaim to all the Majesty of God, the God of Truth. Just and Righteous is He.
It is incumbent upon us the people of the God of Truth to do as the Prophet Samuel spoke to the people: “Fear the LORD, and serve Him in Truth with all your heart; for consider how great things He has done for you” (1 Samuel 12:24).
Serving the God of Truth in Truth is to put away from us all idols, all graven images, all other gods. It is as the Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians: “Put away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbor; for we are members one of another” (Ephesians 4:25). Serving the God of Truth in Truth is to honor God with our words, our deeds, our affections, and with the thoughts and intentions of our heart,
The God of Truth desires Truth. King David wrote: “Behold, you desire Truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden part you shall make me to know wisdom” (Psalm 51:6).
The Psalms are full of references to the God of Truth. It enriches the soul to be so inspired with His Word.
“For the Word of the LORD is right; and all His works are done in Truth” (Psalms 33:4).
“But as for me, my prayer is unto Thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time; O, God, in the multitude of Thy mercy hear me, in the Truth of Thy Salvation” (Psalms 69:13).
The God of Truth expressed Himself in His Law. The Psalmist wrote: “Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Thy Law is the Truth” (Psalms 119:142). “Thou art near, O LORD; and all Thy Commandments are Truth” (Psalms 119:151).
The God of Truth gave His ultimate expression in His Beloved Son who said to the Disciples and indirectly to us all: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6). Yes, Jesus is the God of Truth. He has come to us in the “Spirit of Truth” (John 16:13) “to guides us into all Truth.” We now abide in the Truth and the Truth abides in us.
As expressed by the Apostle John in his Third Epistle “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in Truth (III John 1:4). Oh, what joy it must also give the Father, the God of Truth, when we give honor, glory, worship and praise to Him alone, and walk in Him Who is all Truth. To Him be all dominion forever. Amen.
